| The LSI Journal is a 24 page magazine published 5 times a year "in house" by the Lutheran Science Institute. It contains articles and editorials on the evolution-creation controversy, health and safety articles, articles and editorials dealing with ethical issues, and other items of interest to Lutherans. Each issue features capsules of many recent news items, news of interest to members, and a "Kids' Page" especially designed for children. Many issues also include book and video reviews and letters to the editor. While most original articles and editorials are reprinted on our website, articles which we have gotten permission to reprint from other publications are not posted on this site. Currently the magazine is being distributed to about 70 members of the Institute and all high schools and colleges of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod and Evangelical Lutheran Synod. WELS elementary schools which are not members receive half of the issues on an alternating basis. Churches, schools, and other organizations can receive bundles of the magazine at low rates.
